Ashraf Jahangir Semnani shrine

The Ashraf Jahangir Semnani shrine in the district is quite popular. Hazrat Makhdoom Sultan Syed Ashraf Jahangir Semnani was a great Sufi saint of both the Chishti and Qadiri orders of Sufism. He was the disciple of the famous highly reverend saint of Bengal Hazrat Alaul Haq Pandavi. He established his own Silsila through his nephew and kalifa and Sajjada Nasheen Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul-Razzak Nurul-Ain who is 11th direct descendant of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani known as Qadiriyyah Chishtiya Ashrafiya. His Shrine is in Kichauccha Sharif District Ambedkar Nagar.

Shiv Baba Mandir

Most of the people do not know that who was Shiv baba, but one thing which is clear that he was a Brahmin. It is7 km on Dostpur Road from Akbarpur Ralway Station. Shiv Baba Mandir is a holy place at Akbarpur Khateri road and most of the residents visit this place for regular worship. On every Monday and Friday fair is organized here, which is the centre of attraction for the people. It’s a holy belief of devotees that whosoever visits this temple his wish will be fulfilled.

Hanuman Mandir

Hanuman Mandir at Aniruddh Nagar in Benipur village is a popular places of worship in Ambedkar Nagar. It is situated 18 km West from Akbarpur and 10 km South from Katehri, Near Mijhaura, in Kathehri block. It is believed that on every Tuesday night presence of Lord Hanuman is experienced here, due to this large number of devotees gather here on every Tuesday for worship of Lord Hanuman.

The city Rajesultanpur is popular for shrines like Baba Bharmchari Ji Kuti, Maa Kalika Mandir, Shree Bram Baba Mandir, Riyasat, Durga Mandir and many more. In these Baba Bharmchari Ji Kuti and Maa Kalika Mandir are city landmarks.
